  • The integrated counselling approach combines different therapeutic techniques and theories from various psychological perspectives to create a tailored and comprehensive treatment. By drawing from multiple approaches, such as psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural, and humanistic, integrated counselling aims to provide a more holistic understanding of clients' issues and a diverse set of tools to address them effectively. This approach acknowledges that no single theory fits all situations, allowing therapists to adapt their strategies based on individual needs and preferences.

  • CBT, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is a therapeutic approach that helps people address emotional challenges by examining and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. It's effective for various conditions like anxiety, depression, and PTSD, offering practical techniques to improve well-being. Sessions with a trained therapist involve setting goals and actively learning to reframe unhelpful thoughts.

  • Online and In-Person Sessions cost £55 per session and last 50 min each.

  • Sessions are 50 min each and the number of sessions is entirely dependant upon the client’s needs and the approach they would like to take towards working through the difficulties that are arising.

CBT often aims to approach most difficulties within 6-12 session, but this can be extended.

An integrated approach relies on the client and how they want to work through what’s coming up for them.

It is important to note that you may end sessions at any point, but it’s often beneficial to have a planned final session to manage the end of the therapeutic relationship. Your autonomy will always be respected.

  • If you having thoughts of suicide, it’s important to know that you have someone to talk to and willing to listen. This is something we can work with in our sessions.

If you need to speak to someone now, and you feel that you are at risk of harming yourself its important to reach out and not wait for an appointment.
